Who we are

Aceover is a mobile-first learning and assessment platform for students preparing for external exams and for schools that run assessments. This policy applies to the Aceover website (aceover.org) and the Aceover Android app, which opens the same service.

Information we collect

• Account details you provide: name, email address, password (stored securely by our sign-in provider), the exam you are preparing for and optional profile details.
• School details: school name, classes, teacher and student accounts, and questions and exams created by the school.
• Learning activity: exams and practice sessions taken, answers, scores, time spent, flagged questions and results history.
• Payment records: plan, amount and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by Aceover.
• Basic technical data such as device and browser type, used to keep the service working.

How we use information

• To create and run your account, deliver exams, mark answers and show results and progress.
• To let schools and their teachers see results for exams they set for their own students.
• To generate study feedback and explanations, including AI-assisted explanations of questions.
• To process subscriptions, prevent misuse and improve Aceover.

Who can see your information

• Your personal practice and JAMB mock results are visible to you. If you belong to a school, that school's administrators and teachers can see results of the school exams assigned to you.
• We use trusted service providers for hosting, sign-in, payments and AI features. They process data only to provide those services to Aceover.
• We do not sell your personal information.

Children and students

Many Aceover users are secondary school students. Schools that add students are responsible for having the permissions required to do so. Parents or guardians can contact us to review or delete a student's account.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep account and learning data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time, and we will remove it except where we must keep records such as payment history.

Your choices

You can update your profile in the app, stop using Aceover at any time, or request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us through the Help page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date below and, for important changes, let you know in the app.
